Armstrong Woods: [Help Support ShutterBear]
Armstrong Redwood State Park is a local treasure. The draw includes the grand redwoods with heights up to 360 feet and widths measured in yards. But of lesser known interest is up and beyond the trees to a high bluff with a grand view (prettier when grasses are green) and Toad Pond beyond that, scum-covered in the heat but nonetheless interesting. We missed a photo op of a female wild turkey and her countless goslings running up from the roadside into the tall grass.
Saying Goodbye: Thanks Guys.
